Coach Lee Wilson

Motto: docendo discimus (Latin - 'teach in order to learn')

  •      Background: Coach Wilson was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a native of the Kennesaw/Acworth area. He graduated from North Cobb High School in 1999. From there he attended Oglethorpe University where he was a two sport collegiate athlete in basketball and tennis. After two years at O.U. he transferred to Kennesaw State University where he completed the coursework that earned him a bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in social sciences during which time he achieved a 3.5 g.p.a. in major course work and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta Historic Honors Society. Since then he has earned a Masters degree in instructional technology that he uses to make the classroom a more interactive environment that appeals to many learning styles. He also earned a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction through Piedmont College in the spring of 2016. Currently he is attending Piedmong College for a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

  •       Currently: Coach Wilson enjoys teaching and working with adolescents. He currently teaches world history, economics, and psychology courses. Aside from teaching, he is also the head boys tennis coach.
