Subjects Taught
Algebra II, Geometry

As a Douglasville native, I went through 3rd grade at Douglasville Elementary which is now part of Douglas COunty High School. No, that is not a statement about our high school to the north, but...    I then went from 4th through 12th grade at Arlington Schools, which is now in Fairburn.

I received my undergradute degree from Davidson College (in NC) BA Political Science/Math let's just say it was a long time ago. After I began my career in teaching, I completed my Masters of Education from Berry College in 2003 and my Specialist in Education degree in 2012 from Lincoln Memorial University (which is where, coincidentally, my grandfather completed his undergraduate program in the early 1920s)

I taught math at Douglas County High School as a long term substitute in 2000-2001, and since have taught middle school in Paulding County, taught at Central of Carrollton, Cedartown High School and Newton High School.  I have also coached most years the schools' varsity boys or girls soccer teams.

I grew up on Pinecrest Drive in Douglasville, and my father was an attorney and a judge for many years in Douglas County.  My mother taught English at Douglas County High School for several years before my brother and I came along.

I have been blessed to have raised three great children who have all graduated from UGA and am married to Bobbi Acord Noland, an attorney, and live in Atlanta.
