My name is Courtney Busby.  The 2017-2018 school year marks my 16th year as an educator and my 3rd year at Chapel Hill High School. I teach 10th Grade Literature and Composition, American Literature, and British Literature.  Literature is a subject that I am very passionate about, and I hope my students are able to see that when I bring a variety of texts to life.  My main goal is to get my students to love reading texts from a variety of authors from different time periods that have different  perspectives from us about certain topics.

My husband and I keep very busy with our four children and their very active schedules. Fall is my favorite season because it signals the start of college football. ROLL TIDE!!! Our family also enjoys traveling to different places.
