I have lived and taught in Georgia for the last 16 years, but I am originally from Pennsylvania.  Born and raised in Harrisburg, I later moved to Bloomsburg to attend college and eventually moved to Austell, Georgia to begin my teaching career.  Since then, I have also obtained a Masters Degree in Secondary Education/English from Kennesaw University and have taught a variety of subjects, including AP Seminar, AP English Language, Honors English, American Literature, British Literature, SAT Prep, and Yearbook.

In my spare time, I enjoy a wide variety of activities, such as reading, bike riding, bowling, tennis, hiking, camping, and gardening.  I also enjoying reading and learning new things.  Most of my time is dedicated to improving, both myself and those around me.
