CHHS has been recognized as an "AP Honor School" by the Georgia Department of Education. CHHS was recognized specifically in the area of AP Access & Support. AP Access & Support schools are schools with 30% of AP test takers that are African-American or Hispanic and at least 30% of all AP exams scoring 3 or higher on a scale of 1-5.
We want to congratulate all of our AP students for this recognition. AP classes require students to demonstrate skill and ability above the normal high school curriculum. These students participate in courses that are more rigorous and demanding of their time. AP classes offer college-level learning options to students in high school and may award college credit for those students who score a 3, 4 or 5 on AP exams.
Congratulations to all of the CHHS AP students!
