The Douglas County School System Program for Exceptional Children has announced its intention to destroy special education records of the students, who were born between:
September 1, 1989 and September 1, 1990
The records are no longer needed for education planning purposes and will be destroyed September 1, 2012. The permanent record of attendance will be maintained at the Central Office Annex West.
The Douglas County School System will make the Special Education records available to the student or parent (with student’s permission) upon request to the school system’s Special Education Records Department. To request inactive Special Education records call 770-651-2316. Please give at least 24 hour notice to have records ready for pick-up.
Identification will be required to receive these records.
