The College and Career Center (CCC) has a wide variety of information on careers, colleges, financial aid/scholarships, SAT/ACT preparation and more. The CCC also arranges visits from college representatives and military recruiters. Check out the CCC calendar to find out who will be visiting. Need a work permit? Need a transcript sent to the college you are applying to? The CCC can help you with that also. Other services include voter registration and Selective Service registration.

The Douglas County College and Career Institute (CCI) is a career academy collaboration between the Douglas County School System, West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) and the business community through the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.  Students participate in dual enrollment to receive high school and technical college credit for courses taken at the CCI.  Dual enrollment develops academic and occupational competencies while accelerating completion of a technical certificate or diploma.

Students who are 16 or older, in grades 10, 11 or 12, and in good academic standing, may apply for admission to the CCI.  Students must have an appropriate score on the COMPASS Exam, SAT or ACT to meet admissions requirements.  The COMPASS Exam is given free of charge at WGTC.

Students may sign up for the COMPASS Exam at Chapel Hill High School in the Career Center.   Students are strongly encouraged to prepare for their exam.
