The Brian Jordan Foundation



The Brian Jordan Foundation (BJF) Scholarship Program assists students who need financial assistance with college tuition by providing $1,250 per recipient, per year for FOUR YEARS.


Criteria used for selecting recipients:

§  High school senior who has been accepted to a four-year accredited college or university

§  Maintained an overall 2.7 grade point average throughout high school

§  Submit an essay on why they should receive a Brian Jordan Foundation Scholarship (minimum of 250 words)

§  Three letters of reference from non-relatives

§  Financial information for need determination


Consideration that will aid the decision:

§  Leadership skills (in and out of school)

§  Academic club(s) membership

§  Social, religious organization(s) membership

§  Band, sports or other extra-curricular involvement

§  Work experience

§  Volunteer Activities


Requirements to Maintain the BJF Scholarship:

§  Enrolled in college each August 31st

§  Maintained a grade point average of 2.5 or higher

§  Provide the BJF with semester schedule & transcript

§  Participated in at least one BJF Event throughout the year

The Atlanta Electrical JATC has a Training Program to suit you no matter what your level of experience. Apprenticeship is the ideal method to acquire and develop a completely new skill set, whether you are changing careers or just getting started on your first career. The Atlanta Electrical JATC offers two Apprenticeship options for those with little or no experience.
