Assistant Principal

Dr. Leonard is a native of Columbus, GA where he graduated from Shaw High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Secondary Education from Morehouse College, Master’s Degree in Special Education from Hampton University, and Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University. Dr. Leonard began his education career with the Hampton City School District as a Social Studies teacher at Spratley Middle School. In 2008, he began his career with the Douglas County School System where he severed as a teacher at Chapel Hill High School, New Manchester High School, and Special Education Evaluator at Stewart Middle School. In addition, Dr. Leonard coached wrestling and boy’s golf. This is his third year as Assistant Principal at Chapel Hill High School.
